4 brothers have paid
Please pay your dues ASAP
Checks payable to Sam Selvage until we set up a checking account
Dues can be mailed to Sam – email for his address.
We need to pay Derrick Danilson for the server space for our web site
Per the Province III bylaws and Wes if we pay our Province Dues we will have seats on the Province Council – this adds legitimacy to our group
We do not have a checking account yet
COAIG does not want to put an individual SSN on the account
Treasurer is working on getting an EIN # - essentially a SSN for businesses
Suggestion that the pres, VP, and treasurer should all be on the account
Suggestion that it be a dual signature account
Possibly only for dollar amounts over $100.00
COAIG will need a permanent address
Rather than changing it every year with the changing
of the president a P.O. Box can be acquired for $19 every 6 months
Treasurer exploring tax-exempt status with the IRS – for down the road
US tax code allows for fraternal organizations to apply for tax-exempt status
$150 non-refundable application fee
This would allow donations to be tax deductible
There is a $100 application fee to become an official PMA Alumni Association
