DAN!!!
- I'm here for two reasons
- 1 Get an idea about your membership drive
- 2 We need Convention help
- Membership
- - What are your plans to get to annual meeting as AA?
- - COS Meets last weekend in June to approve any associations
- - Can we set a timeline to get it submitted in time?
- - - Don't want to hit certain roadblocks that other organizations have hit
- - What have you done?
- - - Ryan: I don't know that it was a goal for us to be associated by then.
- - - Ryan: It would be nice, but it should be organic rather than forced.
- - - Sam : It's also WHERE we're pulling our numbers from (younger brothers)
- - - Sam : We're a feeder area and we want to see what we can pull from this year.
- - - Ryan: We want to gain members who show up more than one time!
- - - Ryan: There's a gap right after graduation.
- - - Ryan: Guys who are gung-ho, then fade their involvement because of 'life'. Finally, want to get back into Sinfonia.
- - - Ryan: We've pulled from the first group, haven't approached the second group.
- - - Ryan: I don't know if it's good for our organization to pull from that group.
- - - Ryan: Many issues "Social/Professional"
- - - Sam : Does our standing change our ability to help w/ Cleveland?
- - - Dan : No. But how do you want to be advertised at convention?
- - - Dan : Kansas City was struggling for about two years, do you want to do that?
- - - Dan : There's no interest at the top there, but at least they tried to make the effort.
- - - Dan : I'm concerned about the lack of exclusivity in the chapter.
- - - Dan : I think that the overall idea should be brotherhood and there won't be too much of a social/professional problem.
- - - Dan : DC or Texas does a recial, but overall it's social.
- - - Dan : Older guys/Younger guys will just want to hang out on the weekends.
- - - Dan : I think there's a lot of guys out there that really don't care about classification.
- - - Sam : 12 Guys, 7 from EPhi -- Will that look bad?
- - - Dan : I can't speak for them, but Costal Georgia was pretty spread.
- - - Dan : They DID a mass mailing to find people in the area. Columbus has 216 mailable alumni
- - - Sam : We have the base & the structure, I think we can move forward.
- - - Sam : Let's move forward on this
- - - Dan : Costal Georgia got their stuff done in 6 months. Got a core group and sent out a mailing.
- - - Dan : Had 24 people sign the petition.
- - - Dan : DC and Dallas have quarterly events. Spring Picnic, Recital, Ranger Game, Holiday Game...
- - - Dan : Monthly meetings. Any alumni can go as long as they pay for their tickets.
- - - Dan : I would be concerned whether someone is overwhelmed w/ events...
- - - Dan : Put out a letter at May meeting. Say June 4 is the meeting time!
- - - Dan : I gave a copy of the letter to Tim that Costal Georgia sent out
- - - Tim : I left it at home
- - - Ryan: Is this something that we should be doing?
- - - Tim : I think this is something that we have to do.
- - - Sam : Isn't this what we set out to do?
- - - Dust: I think we have to do that big push. Our grassroots efforts have been limited in their success.
- - - Ryan: We can have them bring the dues at the time.
- - - Dan : You can wait, we won't mind for that month. Consider envelopes.
- - - Dust: Do something from the president and something else.
- - - Dan : Response card?
- - - Dan : I'd have no problem coming up to present the charter in July.
- - - Ryan: I don't have any reservations about this.
- - - Ryan: When should we do this?
- - - Tom : If you can get me the letter...
- - - Tim : I'll PDF it and send it out
- - - Tim : Maybe a flyer instead of the response card?
- - - Sam : Labels for return?
- - - Sam : Then we need the PO Box asap...
- - - Dan : You should print on the envelopes directly to save $$$
- - - Ryan: Tom, Me and Tim will work on stuff and figure out a meeting time.
- - - Ryan: We'll get the PO Box ASAP, then
- - - Tom : We can get it tonight. It's 24 hours!

- Just want to give a heads up as what's involved...
- DC Had TShirts as a fundraiser. One of our recent acquires owns a TShirt shop.
- Dan : Any Questions?
- Sam : We HAVE to get as many people back as possible back in here if we're gonna do this!
- Sam : It can't fall on a few of us to do this.
- Ryan: We have to be prepared for how this changes the flow of the group.
- Ryan: Anything else?
- Dan : Low-key for a while. Basically going to be that week.

- Ryan: "Much to Tim's Delight, we're done"
- Tim : "OWIE"
